Day 3 of the 31 Day Challenge - Yellow Nails

So my mom challenged me to try the bees in the beehive over a month ago and I am finally getting around to it. For this design, my base color is Sinful Colors Unicorn. The ring finger is China Glaze Mahogany. I stamped the beehive using plate W113 from Winstonia and made stamping decals with the bee stamp from Bundle Monster BM-301.

Summer Challenge Day 39 - Red, Orange and Yellow Mani

Hi there!

Red, orange and yellow. This color combination reminds me of flames, wouldn't you agree? I knew I wanted to try water marbling again, but I thought maybe I could make the marbling look like flames. I kind of like how this turned out (even with a few bubbles here and there).

I used a toothpick to draw squiggly lines in the polish, cleaning the toothpick after each line. Then I would place the toothpick within those lines and branch them out to create the look of flames.

The polish I used for this design was Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Rapid Red.

Summer Challenge Day 36 - Buttercups

Hi there!

So for the buttercup challenge I probably would have preferred to paint some flowers, but it was such a busy week I had to take a few shortcuts. I decided to stamp with a flower design that resembled buttercups and I kept the cute couple as an accent.

The base color is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow. The stamp used was Cheeky CH14 using Konad White.

Summer Challenge Day 12 - HOT HOT HOT Combo

The first thing I thought of for the Hot, Hot, Hot Combo was hot neon colors, which also reminded me of the 80's. People wore a lot of geometric shapes, from prints on their clothes to spiked mohawks and triangular shaped sunglasses.

For this manicure I wanted some overlapping neon triangular shapes. I couldn't really get a good picture of the neon colors, but the base colors are Neon Melon and Summer Peach by Sinful Colors. I then painted a strip of tape with some other Sinful Colors and once it was dry, I cut them into triangles and layered them on my nails and sealed them with some Seche Vite topcoat.

Colors used:

Sinful Colors Neon Melon
Sinful Colors Summer Peach
Sinful Colors Pink
Sinful Colors Irish Green
Sinful Colors Why Not
Sinful Colors Dream On

Summer Challenge Day 7 - Sunshine

So I had something else planned for this challenge but my son came up with this idea to represent sunshine. He suggested to have my thumb as the sun and the rays going across my other nails. I love it!

.
Why does the camera always pick up things I don't notice? I'm getting a little better at my clean up but missed a spot on my thumb. Grrr...
